You all know, whether its from heated discussions in German class, over a glass of red wine in District VII in Budapest, or late night discussions at Goblins in Bratislava; gender equality is VERY important to me.

This year I would like to use my birthday to not only talk about the things I care about but to actually make a difference and put my money where my mouth is- or in this case: your money ✨ 

I wouldn't be the (30 year old!) woman I am today without the freedoms and opportunities that many girls and women in Iran do not have.  That’s why I’d be over the moon if, instead of gifts, we could come together to raise money in support of the „Jin, Jiyan, Azadî“ — Woman, Life, Freedom movement by donating to HÁWAR.help.

HÁWAR.help supports the freedom movement in Iran and advocates for human rights. The organisation amplifies political demands, raises awareness of the current situation in Iran, organises protests, and supports political prisoners through a sponsorship programme. It gives a voice to those affected and fights to ensure that human rights violations do not go unpunished.
